This event occurs in the Spring but the exact month and date can vary from year to year. Everything is planned by the Council Staff. Each year has a different theme and different events. Normally, this is held at Camp Birch or John Bryant State Park.

The Chillicothe and RE Hadley District Activity Committee is starting
the plans for the Spring Camporee - May 3-5, 2013. Plans are in the infancy
but growing, so ideas are welcome. Taking ideas, artwork and drawing of the patch. Troops to pick a country (send ideas early, no duplicates - first-come, first-serve - Germany has been chosen). Then think of how you can tell other Troops about Scouting in that county. Uniform – Rank – Customs – History – Food – Camping – Games – Activities - ???? We will have a “midway” type display of the Troops chosen country (10x10 tarp/larger as needed as the morning event morning). Afternoon events will be games from around the world, climbing Mt Everest, Tour deBirch, and shooting sports. There will be an “international” type lunch –not 100 percent decided, but not hot dogs.
