NOTE: These are the comments from
the 2009 Campout and will definitely change for the 2010 trip. These
are being kept here to provide you with some idea of what you may expect.
• Meet at the scout hut at 5:30pm on Friday 10/23, load the trailer and leave for Camp Birch at 6pm. • Camping is at the Baden Powell site with activities at the Cargill Pavilion, next to the climbing tower. • Webelos will be joining the troop for lunch and pioneering merit badge activities from approximately 11am to 3pm on Saturday. • Activities include: constructing a monkey bridge, tomahawk throwing, making rope, tying knots, rope splices, lashings, and possibly a few surprises. • Cost is $3 for camping and whatever the patrols charge for food. Webelos are our guests for lunch. • We will return to the scout hut at approximately 1pm on Sunday. • POC’s are Gene Rooker and Fred Zouck =============================== Also there will be a Senior Weblos Pioneering event.
